While watching the council meeting of March 6, 2012, I was troubled by the council president's decision to call on the Prism salesman to answer questions and concerns raised by the residents during public comment.

If our elected representatives are unable to answer the taxpayers' questions and the council president has to rely on the Prism rep's sales pitch, it would appear that the council members are not informed enough on the issues to competently vote on the ordinances and resolutions before them.
